First dairy factory in Uganda

Together with a local partner Scherjon Dairy Equipment Holland has built the first dairy factory in Uganda. The unique project, also made possible through development funds of the Dutch government, has proven to be a very succesful business. Less than a year after the factory was put in use it already runs break-even. The factory in Kampala can process around 20,000 litres of milk a day and serves as a pilot store for future projects in other African countries.
